“I met Leks when I joined a local gym and was given two free personal training sessions. It was my full intention to take the two free sessions and nothing else, but her professionalism and genuinely caring attitude changed my mind. I had actually seen her working with other clients and was rather intimidated as I was not that physically fit or used to regular exercise and I had seen her working with other clients and she seemed to be working them for all they were worth! After my two visits I discovered that Leks was the type of trainer who was able to gear her training to fit the client, no matter what their physical fitness level.
If you are fit and exercise regularly she is much different than she is if you are just a beginner. Don’t get me wrong-Leks will push you to your limit, but not beyond. She expects you to work hard because she knows that physical fitness is your ultimate goal and she doesn’t believe in wasting her time or your time or money with anything less. But she is also intuitive about people’s limits and needs. I was so impressed after my two visits that a friend and I both signed up for a three month personal training program. I was not in the habit of exercising regularly and also had a bad knee due to an injury a few years previously. Because I favored that knee so much, my other knee developed problems also.
I had only taken the physical therapy I was given at the time of my injury to the point where I could walk again. I then got lazy and paid the price with weak knees and almost daily pain. Leks picked up on this immediately and was both accommodating and tough. She would not let me get lazy but also made it fun and was quick to point out my progress, motivating me to do more. She was even available even when I was at the gym on days that I wasn’t training with her and would answer any questions I had or show me how to use an unfamiliar machine.
Sadly the three month program ended and the gym eventually closed, but the benefits and exercise habits I learned from her are with me a year later and my knees are almost better than they were before my injury. I never take pain medication for them anymore. Even after our working relationship was over Leks would still check in from time to time just to see how I was doing. She truly cares about her clients. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great workout or full physical fitness regimen. Leks truly knows her stuff and does everything she does with thoughtfulness and caring.”
